THE NAME
Why we chose “real sword.”
Shinken (真剣) is the Japanese term for a real, forged blade — as opposed to a practice sword. In the martial tradition, training with a shinken changes everything: there is no room for error, no half-measure, no pretending.
That is the standard we hold ourselves to. When we take on an engagement, we treat it as real — with the full weight of consequence and craft. Precision, commitment, mastery.
